The Weihai Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry Association is a self-regulatory, non-profit social organization established in accordance with national laws and regulations, under the guidance of the Weihai Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. It was jointly initiated by over 20 enterprises, including Weigao Group Co., Ltd., Disha Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., Weihai Jinyi Yang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Shandong Dain Ocean Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Shandong Dazheng Medical Device Co., Ltd., Shandong Jiwei Medical Products Co., Ltd., and Weihai Rensheng Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. Currently, the association has 72 member enterprises and is recognized as the most comprehensive and influential social organization in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry in Weihai.

During a research visit in Shanghai, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, President, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Xi Jinping, emphasized the need to accelerate the localization process of high-end medical equipment and to promote the continuous development of national brand enterprises. Guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the association is committed to serving enterprises, uniting the industry, and developing the sector. Our mission includes safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of member units, enhancing industry self-discipline, advancing the construction of an integrity system within the industry, collaborating with government departments to lead industry development and implement management, encouraging enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry in Weihai. We are dedicated to enriching the cultural connotation of the association, actively exploring new models of win-win cooperation, and being attentive to society and public health, fulfilling our responsibilities for the comprehensive development of the association's endeavors.

The association connects the industry chain and serves the entire sector by focusing on three main lines: joint enterprises, integrated industries, and collaborative innovation. The core focus of the Weihai Medical and Medical Device Industry Association is to build a platform for the healthcare industry. We are strategically developing industry platforms in five key areas: product research and development, overseas markets, talent training, promotion and marketing, and intellectual property services.

Only reformers advance, and only innovators thrive. Under the inspiration of policy, member units under the association are flourishing in their respective fields. Currently, Weihai has developed a landscape characterized by a proliferation of technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, a continuous emergence of high-tech companies, and leading enterprises that stand tall. We are following a "leading enterprise + formation" development model, where each sector features both "unicorns" and "leading sheep," as well as "high-precision" and "industrial chains." The new pharmaceutical and medical device industry cluster is one of the seven key industry clusters being cultivated in Weihai. The high-end medical device innovation and entrepreneurship community, led by the association, is one of thirty such communities at the provincial level in Shandong. Understanding new industrial opportunities and discussing development strategies is the eternal theme of the association. 

Embracing the new era, new journey, and new mission, we are exploring innovative development models within the healthcare industry. Our goal is to support the high-quality growth of the pharmaceutical sector, expand collaboration channels across the industry, and facilitate a smooth medical industry chain and supply chain in Weihai. We aim to promote the localization, high-end development, branding, and internationalization of the healthcare sector. I look forward to seeing Weihai's pharmaceutical and healthcare enterprises thrive, becoming champions in their respective niches and standing at the center of the international stage as a force to be reckoned with.
