Shandong Jiwei Medical Products Co., Ltd. was founded in August 2003, with a registered capital of 607 million RMB, located at No. 68 Dalian Road, high and new technology District, Weihai City. The total assets of JWMS are more than 2 billion RMB, and there are more than 500 employees. The self-developed “drug-coated stent system (Exel)” is the first biodegradable drug-coated stent launched in the Chinese market.

The company has won the highest prize of Science and Technology of Weihai City and the second prize of Shanghai Municipal Technology Invention, and has implanted more than 2 million pieces. The “New Biodegradable Coated Coronary Drug-Eluting Stent Project” led by the company won the Second Prize of 2011 National Technology Invention Award issued by the State Council, and the self-developed new-generation drug-eluting stent (Excrossal) was listed on the market in 2017, which is the first stent to be adopted in the DES clinical study in China, and is the first stent that adopts the latest version of the 2012 global standard for heart attack.
